The inspiration for this painting came from those still crisp mornings we get here in Wānaka, where there's just a hint of a breeze creating small ripples on the lake. At sunrise there is a feeling of stillness that disappears later in the day.

This original painting is watercolour on 600gsm cotton rag, framed in beautiful light-toned natural oak with UV protective glass.
