This is a view from Falls Dam looking out to the surrounding Hawkduns mountain range, which boarders Canterbury and Otago. This is a favourite spot of mine to paint. I don’t often paint buildings, but I love the way the straight lines of these sheds contrast with the rolling mountains in the background.
